In order to earn the class certificate the students must work together to follow the Oak Library expectations! WAY TO GO OAK RAM READERS!!!

*Accelerated Reading Books*
We have many AR books for all reading levels available for check out in the library. We also have a list of our AR books posted at the Bartlett Public Library for your information. We encourage all of our students to read AR books and take AR quizzes to test their reading comprehension.
AR Reading Wall
Students will earn points for the AR books they read and get their names on the reading wall! The wall is updated with new names each month.
Writers Round-Up Corner
The Writers Round-Up Corner features selected childrens authors in the library. This enables the students to become more familiar with the authors of their favorite books. Some of the authors that will be featured are: Jan Brett, Marc Brown, Matt Christopher, John Erickson, Beverly Cleary, Michael Shoulders, Bob Barner and Ralph Massiello.
Attention Parents, Grandparents and Volunteers......
We need your help in the library. Due to the budget cuts for all Shelby County Schools, we have lost our library assistant. If you would like to volunteer to help shelve books or do clerical work in the library, please let us know. We would love to have your help!!!!
Thank You!
Oak Book Fair
The Oak Book Fair is in February. We have awesome Book Fair Moms who plan for this BIG event year round. Mrs. Judy Bowen is our chairperson for this big school wide event. We appreciate all the time and effort she dedicates to our school library program.
The money raised during our Book Fair will be used for purchasing new books, AR tests, audio visual materials and new technology for the library.
